Abstract

The present invention discloses a cap for bottles or similar containers, comprising a tamper-proof-type threaded cap, an overcap, a spillway, a valve, a gasket or valve seat, and a tube having on the internal surface thereof a film which prevents the bottle neck button from being removed; the cap includes on the bottom thereof a ring with slanted teeth which are joined to the cap body by small segments or bridges, and which are fractured when the cap is unthreaded for the first time; the spillway comprises slanted teeth which prevent the ring from spinning when the cap is being unthreaded, thereby fracturing the small segments or bridges, and causing the cap ring to be detached; the ring has two vertical incisions so that when this is detached from the cap body it is opened in two parts; the spillway comprises on the lower part thereof a plurality of teeth, which are in an opposite relationship with a second plurality of teeth, which are disposed on the upper part of the tube. The invention is characterized in that the cap has on its vertical interior surface a two-inlet helicoidal thread, said thread being threaded in a similar thread on the spillway, both ends of each of said threads ending in stops or vertical segments for limiting the cap spinning when threaded on the spillway, and exactly detecting the slanted teeth position to prevent them from being overlapped, and for positioning both vertical incisions of the tamper-proof ring so as to allow the ring to be correctly broken.
