Abstract
Un sistema de transmision HDTV incluye un precodificador Tomlinson (17) en el transmisor para compensar la interferencia intersímbolos forzada, introducida por un filtro de bloque NTSC utilizado en el receptor. El sistema emplea un esquema de una familia de esquemas de modulacion codificada, de cuatro dimensiones en base a una constelacion base de una dimension, de seis puntos de señal. Los diversos esquemas presentan diferentes cantidades de la llamada ganancia de conformacion y soportan diferentes velocidades de datos de carga respectivas. Las características del precodificador Tomlinson son tales que conservan la porcion sustancial de la ganancia de conformacion. El sistema puede conmutar su operacion entre los diversos sistemas de modulacion codificada que se toma en cuenta para los cambios en las condiciones del cual y/o para adaptar diferentes velocidades de bit de señal fuente.
