Abstract

Proceso y aparato para hacer un producto medio para la elaboracion de alimentos inflados, consistente en dos rodillos que giran uno contra el otro, de los cuales por lo menos uno tiene dientes cortadores. El producto, en forma de tiras de masa, pasa entre los dos rodillos, entre los que hay una boquilla que inyecta un chorro de aire que deforma el producto dejando en él un bolsillo de aire. Los dientes pueden ir colocados en ambos rodillos y engranar entre sí. Los dientes tienen forma de letra V, y un extremo de corte redondeado que, al entrar y salir rodando de las tiras de masa, sella una superficie importante de ella y forma un sello mejor, de manera que al freír el producto, el aumento de su presion interior no abra el área sellada.
