Abstract
Un aparato infriador/congelador, auto-contenido, para llevar productos en un ambiente congelado o refrigerado. El aparato comprende un contenedor aislado, el cual se divide en dos porciones. La primera porción es aquélla donde se almacenan los productos. La segunda porción aloja un compartimiento del refrigerante para almacenar un refrigerante sólido, es decir el dióxido de carbono sólido o el hielo seco. En un período de tiempo corto, el hielo seco comienza a sublimarse, formado así dióxido de carbono gaseoso frió, el cual llena el volumen del aparato. Se usa un ventilador para circular el dióxido de carbono en todo el contenedor aislado, removiendo así el calor desde la primera porción y rechazándolo al hielo seco en el compartimiento del refrigerante, enfriando así la primera porción del contenedor aislado. El dióxido de carbono gaseoso frió es circulado en todo el contenedor aislado por medio de conductos de gas colocados dentro de las paredes del contenedor aislado. Un controlador termostático acciona el ventilador con base en las lecturas de temperatura desde los pares térmicos colocados dentro de la primera porción del contenedor aislado. The cold gaseous carbon dioxide is circulated throughout the insulated container by means of gas lines placed within the walls of the insulated container. A thermostatic controller operates the fan based on temperature readings from the thermal pairs placed within the first portion of the insulated container. A pressure relief valve is placed inside the insulated container, to prevent pressure, within this insulated container, from building up beyond a maximum value.
