Abstract

Se da a conocer un método y un aparato para determinar las características de estiramiento de artículos termoplásticos tales como botellas en una base consistente y precisa efectuando una medición inicial tal como la dimensión o el volumen, estirando el artículo hasta que se presente el endurecimiento por fatiga, y correlacionando las mediciones a una propiedad física tal como la viscosidad inherente, la viscosidad intrinseca o el peso molecular del artículo termoplástico.
