Abstract
La presente invención describe un método y un aparato para detectarmicroorganismos en un gran número de ampolletas de cultivo sanguíneoutilizando más de un principio de detección de microorganismos para cadaampolleta. Dos de estos medios de detección posibles incluyen el uso de undetector de dióxido de carbono fluorescente y migración fotónicadifundida. El aparato desarrolla una unión lógica de los resultados de toslos principios de detección aplicados. Por lo tanto, una recuperaciónmejorada y una exactitud mejoradas se logran al detectar microorganismos.
