Abstract

Se desarrolló un sistema y método para la activación de software y un mayor seguimiento de sus estados en un dispositivo informático (computadora) del usuario final para proporcionar a los desarrolladores de software una herramienta flexible y segura para la distribución de software y la recopilación de estadísticas de uso de la activación de software. El método consta de los siguientes pasos lógicos: (a) obtener una confirmación de adquisición; (b) solicitar una licencia; (c) emitir y entregar la licencia al Usuario final, la licencia está asegurada con una clave privada por un servidor, y la clave privada no se almacena en el cliente; (d) verificación de la licencia en la computadora del Usuario; (e) almacenar la licencia en la computadora del Usuario; (f) seguimiento periódico del estado de activación, (g) otra acción con la licencia del Usuario, en la que la verificación de la licencia comprende validar, en el cliente asociado con la aplicación, la licencia recibida del servidor sin modificaciones, y guardar la licencia en el cliente.
