Abstract
Un nodo de red de acceso de radio (RAN), un dispositivo inalámbrico y diversos métodos se describen en el presente documento para el manejo de ancho de banda de búsqueda. En una modalidad, el nodo de RAN transmite un mensaje (por ejemplo, mensaje de búsqueda, mensaje de asignación) a los dispositivos inalámbricos, en donde el mensaje comprende al menos lo siguiente: (i) un campo de modo de página que incluye información que indica una o más clases de cobertura para la cual uno o más mensajes de búsqueda estaban disponibles para la transmisión durante un intervalo de tiempo pero no fueron transmitidos a una pluralidad de dispositivos inalámbricos; y (ii) un campo used_downlink_coverage_class que incluye información que indica una clase de cobertura asociada con el mensaje transmitido.
