Abstract

Se describe en la presente un método y un sistema para interpretar un conjunto de datos que comprende una pluralidad de artículos. El método puede incluir computar un conjunto de reglas que pertenece al conjunto de datos, generar una cobertura de reglas, calcular una pluralidad de distancias entre la pluralidad de pares de reglas en la cobertura de reglas y generar una matriz de distancia en base a la pluralidad calculada de distancia entre la pluralidad de pares de reglas, almacenar la pluralidad calculada de distancias entre la pluralidad de pares de reglas, agrupar las reglas que se superponen en la cobertura de reglas utilizando la matriz de distancias; seleccionar una regla representativa de cada agrupamiento, determinar al menos una excepción para cada regla representativa en la cobertura de reglas seleccionada de cada agrupamiento e interpretar el conjunto de datos utilizando las reglas representativas y dicha o dichas excepciones determinadas para cada regla representativa en el conjunto de reglas.
