Abstract

The present disclosure describes a system for wastewater treatment; said system consists of a sedimentation tank which receives the water supplied by a cistern that collects wastewater. In the sedimentation tank water is mixed thoroughly by means of turbulent static mixer and flocculant-coagulant agents are added, as well as an acid or base solution in order to maintain the pH in the process with a value from about 6 to about 7. After this, the process continues with water clarification using polishing and deodorizing filters and an ozonation column; once the process has ended, the effluent discharge is stored for recycling it again.
