Abstract

The present invention consists of a telecommunications ground-station or a radio-base adapted to the urban environment comprising: a flat, four walls, and a rooftop, wherein at least one wall possess at least one door and at least one window. The rooftop further possesses a wall coping which circumscribes a portion of the rooftop with an inner base station comprising a structure formed by columns and locks. Additionally, a first ladder allows the access from the ground floor to the last level. The ground floor is adapted to house several components of the telecommunication systems, while the upper level is adapted to house antennas and transmitter equipment. Also, at least one cable-tray allows guiding all of the cables connecting the telecommunications system components of the ground floor with the antennas and receiving equipment of the top level. Finally, a second ladder allows access to the top level and the rooftop portion, wherein the rooftop portion houses at least one external antenna. In this way, the ground-station includes elements that allow reducing the visual impact on the urban environment, while being adapted and configured for the proper operation of the telecommunications equipment and systems.
