Abstract
Esta memoria descriptiva da a conocer un dispositivo de establecimiento de red de protocolo independiente y un método de establecimiento de red. El dispositivo de establecimiento de red recibe una señal de capa física a través de una pluralidad de puertos de comunicaciones que interconecta con sistemas informáticos externos. Un conmutador de puntos de enlace interconecta los puertos de comunicaciones con conductos de datos reconfigurables discretos. Cada uno de los conductos de datos define una vía de acceso de transmisión entre puertos de comunicaciones predeterminados. Un módulo de gestión mantiene los conductos de datos basándose en las órdenes de configuración recibidas a partir de un sistema informático externo. El módulo de gestión interconecta con el conmutador de puntos de enlace para hacer y/o interrumpir los conductos de datos en respuesta a las órdenes de configuración recibidas.
