Se proporciona un aparato de recepción, que incluye: un aparato de recepción que recibe una onda de radiodifusión utilizando un sistema de transmisión IP (Protocolo de Internet); y una unidad de procesamiento de filtración que realiza el procesamiento de filtración en un paquete utilizando información de filtración, la información de filtración siendo transmitida en una transmisión de banda base en una primera capa a través de la onda de radiodifusión, la primera capa siendo menor que una capa IP en una jerarquía de un protocolo del sistema de transmisión IP. La presente tecnología es aplicable a un receptor de televisión, por ejemplo.
