Abstract

A shutdown prompt method and device. The method comprises: receiving, in a shutdown state, a wakeup command from a clock circuit (101); executing, according to the wakeup command, a preconfigured initialization operation not including activating an operating system (102); and upon completion of the preconfigured initialization operation, executing, according to a presaved prompt event, a predefined prompt program (103). The implementation of the method can warn about the prompt event without activating an operating system, preventing a waste in time and power owing to activating the operating system, conserving electricity, while not activating a call connection function, preventing radio frequency radiation and enhancing user experience.
