Abstract

Se presentan sistemas y métodos de predicción de permeabilidad utilizando análisis discriminante cuadrático. Al menos una modalidad de método divulgada incluye: adquirir mediciones de propiedades de la formación en una pluralidad de posiciones a lo largo de al menos un pozo en un área de estudio; identificar grupos en una pluralidad de puntos que representan las mediciones de propiedades de la formación en la pluralidad de posiciones; y determinar un valor de permeabilidad del sistema para cada grupo. El análisis discriminante cuadrático (QDA) se utiliza para asociar uno de los grupos con cada posición a lo largo de uno o más pozos, determinando de esta manera una predicción de permeabilidad del sistema para cada posición. La permeabilidad total del sistema se puede predecir entonces al agregar las predicciones de permeabilidad del sistema.
