Abstract

La invención se refiere a métodos para filtrar contaminantes de un fluido, a un modo de filtro para filtrar contaminantes de un fluido, y a una planta de filtración que comprende por lo menos un tal módulo de filtro. En una modalidad, se describe un método para filtrar contaminantes de un fluido que comprende las etapas de: dirigir una corriente de alimentación de un fluido que contiene contaminantes a una cámara de filtro (14a) que contiene por lo menos un elemento de filtro (18a); disponer por lo menos parte del fluido de corriente de alimentación dirigido a la cámara de filtro para fluir en uno de: a) una dirección de flujo delantera donde el fluido pasa en una primera dirección a través de una pared (22a) del elemento de filtro; y b) una dirección de flujo inversa donde el fluido pasa en una segunda dirección, opuesta a través de la pared del elemento de filtro. El método comprende además dirigir el material filtrado fuera de la cámara y dentro de una línea de flujo del material filtrado (26) para recolección; disponer subsecuentemente el fluido de corriente de alimentación dirigido a la cámara de filtro para que fluya a través del elemento de filtro en la otra de las direcciones de flujo delanteras e inversas, para remover el material contaminante de una superficie de la pared del elemento; después la remoción del material contaminante por el fluido de flujo en la otra de las dimensiones de flujo delanteras e inversas, continuar dirigiendo el fluido de corriente de alimentación a través de la pared del elemento de filtro en otra dirección para filtrar de esa manera los contaminantes de fluido durante el flujo en la otra dirección; y subsecuente a la remoción del material contaminante, dirigir el material filtrado resultante del flujo a través de la pared del elemento de filtro en la otra dirección de flujo fuera de la cámara y dentro de la línea de flujo del material filtrado para recolección.
