Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un dispositivo de codificación de video 3D y método. Un método de descodificación, de acuerdo con la presente invención, proporciona un método de descodificación de video 3D. Un método de descodificación comprende las etapas de obtener un valor de disparidad en función de una vista de referencia y un valor predeterminado; derivar la información de movimiento de un bloque actual en una imagen de profundidad en función del valor de disparidad; y generar una muestra de predicción del bloque actual en función de la información de movimiento, en donde la vista de referencia es una vista de una imagen de referencia en una lista de imágenes de referencia. De acuerdo con la presente invención, incluso cuando una vista base no pueda accederse, un vector de disparidad puede derivarse en función de un índice de vista de referencia disponible en una memoria intermedia de imágenes descodificadas (DPB), y la eficiencia de codificación puede mejorarse.
