Abstract

Una composición de cemento no hidráulico que incluye: (i) una fase líquida no acuosa que comprende uno o más compuestos orgánicos caracterizados por: (a) tener al menos un grupo hidroxilo en un átomo de carbono, (b) ser un líquido cuando es puro bajo Condiciones Estándar de Laboratorio, y (c) ser al menos soluble en agua; (ii) uno o más compuestos de cloruro de magnesio seleccionados del grupo que consiste de: cloruro de magnesio, un cloruro de magnesio hidratado, y cualquier combinación de los mismos solubilizados en la fase líquida no acuosa; y (iii) óxido de magnesio; en donde uno o más de los compuestos orgánicos comprenden al menos 40% en peso de la fase líquida no acuosa excluyendo el peso de cualesquiera sólidos disueltos.
