Abstract
The present disclosure is related to the bubble electrospinning system and method with high speed flow for the nanofiber production. The nano-fibrillary materials that are obtained with this system and method have electrical properties for their application in electronic devices such as energy storage units, actuators, shape memories, etc. This system has productivity greater than 10ml / h; much higher compared to traditional electrospinning methods allowing obtaining nanofibers of between 30 and 600 nm, with a higher electrically active crystalline phase content (ß phase). Additionally, the method using said system allows obtaining PVDF nanofibers showing thermal stability for up to 300 ° C and a -d33 of 100 pm/V coefficient. What toghether with the intrinsic biocompatibility properties of the material, offers optimum characteristics for the manufacturing of technological devices.
