Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un simulador del proceso de intubación en bovinos, el cual permite a los estudiantes de veterinaria practicar situando la cabeza del bovino en la posición correcta para realizar el proceso de intubación, introducir una sonda y tomar muestras de líquido rumial además de simular una situación de broncoaspiración. Adicionalmente, la presente invención permite recrear las condiciones sensoriales que un veterinario experimenta durante dicho proceso, entrenar al alumno a estimular la epiglotis, variar el grado de dificultad que presentará la epiglotis para su apertura, saber la posición de la sonda desde que es introducida al simulador, realimentar al usuario en tiempo real durante el desarrollo del proceso y almacenar los datos generados, entre otras funciones.
