Abstract
Se presentan métodos y herramientas para detectar la posición del revestimiento en el interior del pozo. El método utiliza herramientas electromagnéticas (EM) con sistemas de antena inclinada para detectar la posición del revestimiento. En ocasiones, los diseños de antena inclinada también aumentan la sensibilidad de las herramientas EM a los parámetros de la formación, que pueden llevar a señales falsas para la detección del revestimiento. Además, es muy difícil distinguir las señales medidas entre una fuente del revestimiento y una fuente de la formación. Los métodos y herramientas que se presentan también ayudan a minimizar aquellos efectos de entorno, así como mejorar las señales desde un revestimiento conductivo circundante. Los métodos en este documento proporcionan ideas de diseño de herramienta EM para determinar con precisión la posición del revestimiento dentro de una cierta distancia a la posición del revestimiento.
