Abstract
Un módulo de alimentación de energía eléctrica para sistemas de energía eléctrica modulares, que proporciona selectivamente energía a una o más salidas eléctricas en el sistema desde una sola fuente de energía, sin importar el número de fuentes de energía que están conectadas mediante los módulos de alimentación de energía en el sistema. El módulo de alimentación de energía incluye un cable de alimentación de energía, un cable de salida de energía, y un circuito eléctrico dispuesto entre el cable de alimentación de energía y el cable de salida de energía, siendo el circuito eléctrico operable para conectar selectivamente el cable de salida de energía con el cable de alimentación de energía si el cable de alimentación de energía está conectado a una primera fuente de alimentación y el cable de salida de energía no está ya energizado eléctricamente mediante una segunda fuente de alimentación. El circuito incluye un conmutador eléctrico, un sensor para detectar si el cable de salida de energía está energizado eléctricamente, y un controlador para operar el conmutador en respuesta a una señal desde el sensor.
