Abstract

La presente invención proporciona un adsorbente de micotoxinas con base en un derivado de betaína altamente específico para tricotecenos A y B, y especialmente para vomitoxina (o deoxinivalenol) y toxina T-2; así como un proceso para preparar dicho adsorbente de micotoxinas. El adsorbente de micotoxinas de la invención se obtiene con la modificación de la superficie de un aluminosilicato mediante un compuesto orgánico anfótero con un grupo carboxilo que le proporciona propiedades de alta polaridad. El adsorbente de micotoxinas es útil para preparar alimentos balanceados de animales que evitan los efectos tóxicos de las micotoxinas.
