Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una herramienta de flexión a distancia para transportar una herramienta de perfilaje a una boca de pozo, que comprende: un cuerpo de herramienta configurado para acoplarse a la herramienta de perfilaje, en donde el cuerpo tiene un eje central; un alojamiento de leva acoplado al cuerpo de herramienta y que tiene una trayectoria de leva; un manguito acoplado al cuerpo de herramienta a través de un miembro pivotante, en donde el manguito tiene un eje central y está configurado para moverse axialmente con respecto al miembro pivotante, en donde el manguito y el miembro pivotante están configurados para girar con respecto al cuerpo de herramienta; y un brazo de leva acoplado al manguito y que se extiende coaxialmente a través del miembro pivotante para acoplar selectivamente la trayectoria de leva del alojamiento de leva; en donde el manguito tiene una primera posición con el eje central del manguito alineado coaxialmente con el eje central del cuerpo y una segunda posición con el eje central del manguito orientado en un ángulo menor a 180° con respecto al eje central del cuerpo de herramienta; en donde el manguito está configurado para moverse axialmente hacia el miembro pivotante en respuesta a un impacto con una obstrucción en la boca de pozo; en donde el brazo de leva está configurado para moverse en acoplamiento con la trayectoria de leva en respuesta a que el manguito se mueve axialmente hacia el miembro pivotante y gire el manguito de la primera posición a la segunda posición.
