Abstract
The present invention has evaluated the activity of cyclic polymeric peroxide resulting from Krameria cytisoides, the so called kramecyne, showing an insecticidal and insectistatic activity, avoiding the abuse in the use of chemical-synthetic insecticides for controlling plagues, which generates pollution and resistance to said products. The use of vegetable-origin substances resulting from the secondary metabolism of plants, such as kramecyne, is an effective and biodegradable alternative.
