Abstract
Se describen un método y sistema para registrar un reloj recursivo en un nodo en una estructura de datos jerárquica. Las modalidades de la técnica descrita pueden incluir: (i) recibir una solicitud para registrar un oyente de evento en un nodo de fuente, el nodo de fuente siendo uno de una pluralidad de nodos que están relacionados entre sí en una jerarquía; (ii) registrar al oyente de evento en el nodo de fuente, el oyente de evento está configurado para notificar a un cliente de una ocurrencia de un primer evento en el nodo de fuente; y (iii) si el nodo de fuente tiene un nodo descendente en la jerarquía, configurar el oyente de evento para notificar al cliente de una ocurrencia de un segundo evento en el nodo descendente sin requerir del registro de otro oyente de evento en el nodo descendente. Cada uno de los nodos puede representar, por ejemplo, una división lógica de un dispositivo de almacenamiento.
