Abstract

Se proveen un sistema y un método para medir e informar el uso de recursos renovables y no renovables de manera automatizada. El sistema incluye un medidor AMI para medir el uso de recursos y comunicarlo a un servidor AMI a través de funciones integradas de comunicación múltiple. El servidor AMI almacena y procesa los datos recibidos provenientes del medidor AMI para producir información de facturación y de control. Se envían mensajes informativos a los medidores AMI de los consumidores correspondientes y se actualizan en los nodos de pagos mediante el servidor AMI. El medidor AMI también está provisto de características de registro automático (registro con el servidor) y de medición bidireccional.
