Abstract

Described is a method for preparing zinc oxide nanoparticles including the following steps: a) preparing a bicontinuous emulsion having an aqueous-phase nanotube structure, the bicontinuous microemulsion is formed by water, one or a plurality of water-soluble metallic precursors, one or a plurality of non water-miscible organic solvents, one or a plurality of surfactants; b) adding one or a plurality of precipitating agents for producing a precipitation reaction in the aqueous-phase nanotubes in order to form zinc oxide nanoparticles; and c) separating the zinc oxide nanoparticles from the bicontinuous microemulsion.
