Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un sistema y un dispositivo para proporcionar control de proximidad en un sistema de distribución de contenido de medios de televisión satelital que comprende por lo menos un receptor primario y un receptor secundario, mediante el cual se da autorización al acceso a contenido de medios de acceso condicional si se comprueba que el primer y el segundo receptores están dentro de una sola casa. La invención usa señalización de control LNB, por el receptor primario, para hacer que el LNB reduzca las señales de transpondedores predeterminados a una frecuencia predeterminada en la banda L de tal forma que el receptor secundario pueda recibir mensajes así creados a través del control del LNB por el receptor primario.
