Abstract
Un sistema de monitoreo de temperatura del rodamiento para detectar una temperatura de la grasa de rodamiento dentro de un alojamiento de rodamiento. El sistema de monitoreo de temperatura de rodamiento comprende un alojamiento montable al alojamiento de rodamiento, una fuente de alimentación que genera de manera selectiva una corriente eléctrica, y un circuito eléctrico. El circuito eléctrico incluye un componente de sensor de temperatura acoplado eléctricamente a la fuente de alimentación. El componente de sensor de temperatura puede ser responsivo a un cambio en la temperatura de modo que el componente de sensor de temperatura abre o cierra el circuito eléctrico a una temperatura predeterminada incluso en la ausencia de una corriente eléctrica aplicada. El circuito eléctrico además incluye un dispositivo de alerta acoplado eléctricamente a la fuente de alimentación y el componente de sensor de temperatura que genera una alerta en respuesta al componente de sensor de temperatura.
