Abstract

A connector (C) comprising: a plug (10) to be coupled to a plug socket (100) with a terminal box (120) of an optical fiber network and being attached to an optical cable (1,1a), a tubular housing (20) receiving and retaining previously the plug (10) and rear end tendoum (20b) externally threaded; a means of anchoring (30) defined by a crimp tube (31) surrounding a cylindrical tubular portion (10c) of the plug (10) and the adjacent end portion of an outer layer (2,2a) of the optical cable (1,1a ) to be crimped to the inside of an outer circumferential channel (11) of the plug (10) and against the outer layer (2,2a) of the optical cable (1,1a); a coupler device (40) for holding the tubular housing (20) to the terminal box (120); and a mounting nut (60) subsequently closing the tubular housing (20) .The connector (c) can still load a hitch adapter (e) having a tubular body (200) seated and retained sealingly around the tubular housing (20), and a coupling sleeve (300) being threaded inside the side wall (103) of the plug socket (100).
