Abstract

La invención se refiere a un dispositivo de purificación de agua que comprende una cámara de purificación de agua (1) que comprende: una caja dispensadora de biocida (3) que está en comunicación de fluido con un compartimiento de almacenamiento de biocida ( 5) y un puerto dispensador de biocida (4); en donde la caja dispensadora de biocida (3) está conectado a un tubo transmisor de presión (2) y el extremo libre de dicho tubo se extiende hacia abajo hacia la cámara de purificación (1), dicha cámara de purificación de agua (1) está en comunicación de fluido con un cámara de filtro (10) a través de un mecanismo de descarga de sifón de afluencia con forma de "U" invertida (13) con patas de longitud desigual; en donde la abertura de la pata pequeña del mecanismo de descarga de sifón de afluencia está por arriba del fondo de la cámara de purificación de agua (1); la pata larga se extiende hacia la cámara de filtro (10) y la parte superior del mecanismo de descarga de sifón de afluencia con forma de "U" invertida (13) está por arriba del extremo libre del tubo, en donde durante la operación, el nivel de agua en la cámara de purificación de agua crea una presión de aire en el tubo de transmisión de presión y permite la descarga del biocida desde la caja dispensadora de biocida hacia la cámara de purificación de agua a través del puerto dispensador de biocida.
