Abstract
Se describen sistemas, métodos y/o aparato para la conversión de diversos tipos de energía en energía térmica que puede ser almacenada y/o después convertida en energía eléctrica. La energía eléctrica puede estar disponible a solicitud y/o de acuerdo con los requisitos de potencia deseados de un usuario (p. ej., el nivel y/o tipo de potencia). Por ejemplo, la energía puede estar disponible a una tensión determinada y como energía de corriente directa (CD) o energía de corriente alterna (CA). La energía eléctrica puede ser transportada fácilmente, y por tanto, estar disponible en el lugar deseado de un usuario. Por ejemplo, los sistemas, métodos y/o dispositivos pueden eliminar o disminuir la necesidad de transmisión de electricidad, al menos para algunas aplicaciones.
