Abstract

Se describen un método para procesar un servicio interactivo y un aparato del mismo. La presente invención incluye recibir contenido de audio sin comprimir o contenido de video sin comprimir desde una unidad de descodificación externa, extraer identificadores de tramas desde el contenido recibido periódicamente, enviar solicitudes que contienen los identificadores y recibir un activador para el contenido cuando se detecta un nuevo segmento o cuando la activación de evento necesita comunicarse al receptor, en donde el activador indica el momento actual de los contenidos y referencia un evento interactivo particular en una tabla de parámetro de aplicación o señala que el evento va a ejecutarse ahora o en un momento futuro especificado, en donde la tabla de parámetro de aplicación incluye información acerca de al menos una de las aplicaciones.
