Abstract
La presente invención monitorea las actividades de un usuario para determinar qué tanta atención está poniendo a uno o más dispositivos. Con base en la información reunida (300, 302) acerca del "perfil de atención" actual del usuario, se establece un "parámetro de interacción del usuario" (304) que refleja donde se enfoca la atención del usuario y, de manera ideal, qué tanta de su atención se da a cada dispositivo. Después, con base en el parámetro de interacción del usuario, la interfaz de usuario de al menos uno de los dispositivos del usuario está configurada (306) para optimizar las interacciones del usuario, dada la cantidad de atención que está dando actualmente a esta interfaz de usuario. Si el usuario está dando la mayoría de su atención a la televisión (114), por ejemplo, entonces la interfaz de usuario de un dispositivo complementario (108, 116) puede estar configurada para enfatizar los tipos de interacciones disponibles a un usuario que no está viendo de manera activa el dispositivo complementario (108, 116).
