Abstract

Es un Aditivo modificador de las propiedades reologicas del asfalto en tibio, que logra mezclar y compactar las mezclas asfálticas con una reducción de temperatura de hasta 35° C, cual está constituido por cera, aditivo mejorador de adherencia y agente fluxuante, el cual disminuye la oxidación del asfalto, presentándose mas joven y resistente la fatiga, disminuye la tensión interfacial entre el agregado y el asfalto , incrementa la adhesividad entre los mismos haciendo la mezcla resistente a los daños causados por la humedad, aumenta la resistencia a la deformación permanente, se reducen las emisiones de gases y se ahorra el consumo de combustible. El aditivo de acuerdo con la invención tiene los siguientes efectos: - A temperaturas elevadas (entre 100 y 160°C) DISMINUYE la viscosidad del asfalto, en relación al asfalto sin aditivo. - A temperaturas entre 58 y 82°C AUMENTA la viscosidad del asfalto, en relación al asfalto sin aditivo. A temperaturas menores a 25°C DISMINUYE la viscosidad del asfalto, en relación al asfalto sin aditivo.
