Abstract
Se proveen procedimientos para comunicaciones de multidifusión eficiente en recursos en sistemas satelitales móviles. Una compuerta inalámbrica está configurada para encapsular los mensajes de señalización de multidifusión recibidos de los canales remotos participantes. La encapsulación es compatible con la red central del sistema, mediante lo cual la señalización se hace pasar a través de la red central sin detectar. La señalización es recibida por una compuerta de multidifusión y provee información de IP y de direccionamiento de puertos necesaria para que la compuerta de multidifusión encapsule los datos de sesión de multidifusión de manera compatible con la red central. Después de recibir los datos de sesión de multidifusión de un servidor de multidifusión, la compuerta de multicanal replica y encapsula cada paquete de datos con direccionamiento de IP y puerto para cada terminal remota participante que también se hace pasar a través de la red central sin detectar. La compuerta inalámbrica recibe los paquetes de datos replicados y en base a la información de encapsulación transmite cada paquete de datos recibido vía transmisión de difusión a cada celda en donde las terminales participantes están ubicadas.
