Abstract

Un método para establecer canales de frecuencia en una red inalámbrica en malla de múltiples saltos que comprende una pluralidad de nodos. Cada nodo salta en los canales de frecuencia, con un periodo de salto, de acuerdo con una secuencia de salto en los canales de frecuencia. Todos los paquetes de datos transmitidos por los nodos tienen una duración estrictamente más larga que el periodo de salto. Cuando un determinado nodo de la pluralidad de nodos se encuentra en un primer modo de transmisión para transmitir un paquete de datos, éste lleva a cabo las etapas de: seleccionar un canal de frecuencia de transmisión como una función de la secuencia de salto en los canales de frecuencia; y transmitir el paquete de datos mediante el uso, a lo largo de toda la duración del paquete de datos, del canal de frecuencia de transmisión seleccionado.
