Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a la conversión de materiales de desecho y de bajo valor en productos útiles, en purezas confiables y de una manera a bajo costo y eficiente en energía. Más específicamente, la invención proporciona los procesos que pueden manejar corrientes mixtas de diversos materiales de alimentación, por ejemplo, el residuo de trituradora, desechos, estiércol de animales, lodo de drenaje municipal, neumáticos y plásticos, que de otro modo tienen poco valor comercial, a productos útiles que incluyen gas, aceite, especialmente productos químicos y sólidos de carbón. El proceso somete el material de alimentación a calor y presión, separa los diversos componentes, luego aplica adicionalmente calor y presión a uno o más de esos componentes, de acuerdo a los procesos basados en la desintegración térmica o catalítica. La invención comprende además un aparato para realizar un proceso de etapas múltiples de conversión de los materiales de desecho en materiales útiles, y al menos un producto de aceite que surge del proceso. Los productos útiles pueden también ser obtenidos o derivados de los materiales desviados en diferentes puntos del proceso.
