Abstract
Un método para obtener un metal de electrodos a partir de un electrodo de una batería de iones de litio (Li-ion) incluye la separación de una porción de electrodos de una batería de Li-ion gastada. Se pone en contacto un disolvente de lixiviación con la porción de electrodos separada para formar una dispersión de electrodos. La dispersión de electrodos se calienta hasta una temperatura en un intervalo de alrededor de 50oC a alrededor de 90oC aplicando radiación de microondas. La temperatura de la dispersión de electrodos se mantiene en el intervalo de alrededor de 50oC a alrededor de 90oC durante un período en un intervalo de alrededor de 10 segundos a alrededor de 5 minutos aplicando además radiación de microondas a la dispersión de electrodos calentada. Luego la dispersión de electrodos se filtra para obtener el metal de electrodos.
