Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a plantas de espinaca resistentes al Peronospora farinosa y Stemphylium vesicarium, y a plantas de espinaca resistentes adicionalmente al virus del mosaico del pepino (CMV). La presente invención también se refiere a fragmentos genómicos que proporcionan las presentes resistencias y al uso de los mismos para identificar espinacas resistentes al Peronospora farinosa y Stemphylium vesicarium, y plantas de espinaca resistentes adicionalmente al virus del mosaico del pepino (CMV). Específicamente la presente invención se refiere a plantas de espinaca resistentes al Peronospora farinosa y Stemphylium vesicarium: (1) que comprenden un fragmento genómico de la Spinacia tetrandra ubicado en el cromosoma 4 entre las posiciones 8255074 y 8620598 del genoma espinaca de referencia, el fragmento genómico de la Spinacia tetrandra carece de un factor letal y proporciona resistencia al Peronospora farinosa y (2) que comprenden un fragmento genómico ubicado en el cromosoma 3 y entre las posiciones 1177586 1271037 del genoma de espinaca de referencia que proporciona resistencia a Stemphylium vesicarium.
