Abstract

The present invention discloses a copper, silver, and lead oxide recovery method by simultaneous electroplating allowing electronic waste treatment to recover metals of economic and commercial interest by accumulated electronic waste. Said method includes (i) acid feedstock leaching containing metallic chemical species, (ii) placing the step (i) solution into a three-electrode electrochemical reactor, (iii) applying a cell voltage in the range up to -45 mV < E < -39 mV, (iv) disconnecting the electrochemical reactor after 15 min since the voltage application of step (iii), (v) and removing the electrodes from the electrochemical reactor recovering the electrodeposited metallic chemical species.
