Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un dispositivo de rastreo de vehículo para rastrear uno o más vehículos en una ubicación geográfica de una red de transporte dentro de la cual el uno o más vehículos son capaces de moverse, el dispositivo de rastreo de vehículo que comprende: uno o más sensores infrarrojos (IR) que tienen un campo de visión y que están configurados para detectar radiación IR que se emite de o se refleja por el uno o más vehículos en la ubicación geográfica dentro del campo de visión; un receptor configurado para recibir datos de identificación únicos que únicamente identifican cada uno del uno o más vehículos y datos de posición que indican una posición inicial de cada uno del uno o más vehículos cuando el uno o más vehículos ingresan al campo de visión en la ubicación geográfica; un procesador configurado para determinar datos cinemáticos actuales del uno o más vehículos en al menos dos invenciones con base en la radiación IR detectada por el uno o más sensores IR, los datos de identificación únicos recibidos y los datos de posición recibidos; y un transmisor configurado para transmitir los datos cinemáticos actuales determinados de un vehículo particular del uno o más vehículos a un receptor de datos cinemáticos espaciado del transmisor.
