Abstract

Se proporcionan varias implementaciones para un sistema automático y procesos para monitorear el uso del equipo de protección personal en un espacio de trabajo. El sistema incluye códigos de barras adheridos a los equipos de protección individual. El funcionamiento del sistema consiste en capturar imágenes del espacio de trabajo y detectar objetos de forma humana y objetos de código de barras en las imágenes. El sistema y los procesos implican además calcular la probabilidad de que un usuario lleve puesto todo el equipo de protección personal de acuerdo con las normas de seguridad aplicables al espacio de trabajo. En algunas implementaciones, el sistema y los procesos pueden utilizarse para rastrear equipos de protección personal y otros objetos en un espacio de trabajo. En consecuencia, el sistema y los procesos pueden utilizarse para prevenir o limitar la ocurrencia de accidentes, incidentes y/o lesiones en entornos de trabajo peligrosos.
