Abstract
Un método para generar (a) una función de reformación directa para comprimir una imagen de alto rango dinámico (HDR) de entrada en una imagen de rango dinámico estándar (SDR) reformada y (b) una función de reformación inversa para descomprimir la imagen SDR reformada en una imagen HDR reconstruida, incluye (i) optimizar la función de reformación directa para minimizar una desviación entre la imagen SDR reformada y una imagen SDR de entrada correspondiente a la imagen HDR de entrada, (ii) optimizar la función de reformación inversa para minimizar una desviación entre la imagen HDR reconstruida y la imagen HDR de entrada, y (iii) hasta que se cumpla una condición de terminación, aplicar una corrección a la imagen SDR de entrada y reiterar, con base en la imagen SDR de entrada como corregida, los pasos para optimizar las funciones de reformación directa e inversa.
