Abstract

Un aparato electrónico lleva a cabo un método de decodificación de datos de video. El método comprende: recepción, proveniente del flujo de bits, de una pluralidad de elementos de sintaxis asociados con una unidad de codificación, en donde la pluralidad de elementos de sintaxis indica el tipo de árbol de codificación de la unidad de codificación y si el modo de árbol doble local se encuentra habilitado para la unidad de codificación; y de acuerdo con la determinación de que el tipo de árbol de codificación de la unidad de codificación es un solo árbol y de que el modo de árbol doble local se encuentra habilitado para la unidad de codificación; desactivación del modo paleta para la unidad de codificación cuando la unidad de codificación tiene el tamaño igual o menor a un umbral predeterminado. En algunas modalidades, la desactivación del modo paleta para la unidad de codificación incluye: desactivación del modo paleta tanto para el componente luma como para el componente croma de la unidad de codificación, o desactivación del modo paleta solo para el componente croma de la unidad de codificación.
