Abstract

According to the present disclosure, a sprinkler assembly for use with a hose pipe and a sprinkler system are disclosed. The sprinkler assembly (100) comprises a base unit (200) and a sprinkler section coupled with the base unit. The base unit comprises an adaptor (608) connected with the sprinkler section, a footrest (607) connected with the adaptor, a plurality of stabilising spikes (601) connected with the footrest and a male take-off adaptor (604) connected with the adaptor and the foot rest. The sprinkler assembly (100) is configured to mount on the hose pipe through a female take-off adaptor (603), and the female take-off adaptor is securely inserted into a hole of a hose pipe and connected with the male take-off adaptor (604) through mating. In the sprinkler system, a plurality of sprinkler assemblies are configured to mount on the single hose pipe (602) at a predetermined distance.
