Abstract
Se proporcionan en esta memoria composiciones y métodos útiles para identificar y seleccionar plantas de sorgo con mayor resistencia a la antracnosis. Los métodos utilizan marcadores genéticos moleculares en QTL localizados en el cromosoma 5 y en el cromosoma 8 para identificar y seleccionar plantas con mayor resistencia a la antracnosis, y plantas que comprenden los alelos de QTL asociados con aumento de la resistencia a la antracnosis pueden cruzarse con otras plantas de sorgo para incorporar el aumento de la resistencia a otras líneas o variedades de sorgo.
