Abstract

Los modelos de predicción de riesgo se entrenan y se despliegan para analizar imágenes, tales como tomografías computarizadas, para predecir el riesgo futuro de cáncer de pulmón para uno o más sujetos. Los modelos de predicción de riesgo individuales se entrenan por separado en características específicas del nódulo y específicas del no nódulo, de tal manera que cada modelo de predicción de riesgo puede predecir el riesgo futuro de cáncer de pulmón en diferentes períodos de tiempo (p. ej., 1 año, 3 años, o 5 años). Tales modelos de predicción de riesgo son útiles para desarrollar terapias preventivas para el cáncer de pulmón al permitir el enriquecimiento de los ensayos clínicos.
