Abstract

Provided in the embodiments of the present disclosure are a method and device for implementing mutual switching between 4G and 5G networks and a storage medium. The method comprises: in a switching preparation stage, a source base station establishing a forwarding channel; in a switching execution stage, sending a switching command to a UE, carrying out protocol header stripping processing on a PDU in a sent queue of a PDCP layer to form downlink forwarding data, and forwarding the downlink forwarding data to a target base station by means of the forwarding channel, so that the target base station can carry out duplication removal processing on the downlink forwarding data according to a receiving feedback of a TCP layer and then send the downlink forwarding data to the UE; and forwarding downlink data from a core network to the target base station by means of the forwarding channel. According to the present disclosure, protocol header stripping processing is carried out on a message processed by protocol on the source side in the switching execution stage to form an original IP message, the original IP message is transmitted to the target base station by means of a forwarding link, and the repeated sending of the message on the TCP layer of the target side is reduced, thereby achieving lossless forwarding during network switching, and ensuring the stability of the transmission rate.
